This is a super long text that is just a placeholder for all the cool stuff I am going to write about myself. Once I think of it I will be unstoppable but until then I will just settle for a jumbo paragraph.... done.

Something Sweet Goes Here...

About Me

Hi! My name is Michael :)

It's always strange to write about yourself. I always wish I could pull some Shakespeare gumbo like, "To define a human by words is a complicated ordeal. The mysteries of the soul cannot be confined to the ineffectiveness of allocated symbols."

But I can't do that because I do know a little bit about myself. Though I doubt that saying 'I like to read in the sun,' gives you a very good idea of who I am.Perhaps I can tell you that I talk to the people in my head, but then you would think me insane. I could try to tell you about my achievements: placing in a few writing contests, writing two whole novels, attempting to make a musical, or the fact that I made breakfast today and it tasted good.

Maybe I should just keep it simple?I like the color purple. I create stories where things happen and emotions run high. I can't trust myself after 4pm. I am a hopeless romantic. I will call any dog a 'puppy.' No exceptions. At the end of the day, I'm just Michael. It's nice to meet you. :)

Geekerella - Ashley Poston

Cinderella meets Comic Con. A girl is determined to win a cosplay contest as her, and her late father's, favorite fictional character. Add in a mysterious boy on the other side of a phone and a stepfamily after their own greedy ambitions, and it makes for a fairytale that is timeless and modern.

The Tale Of Despereaux - Kate Dicamillo

A little mouse, too comfortable with humans, or one, in particular, destined to save his unlikely friend. Battling against rats, humans, and his own mice kind, Despereaux strives to save and unite. A big undertaking, but can only be done by someone small, with very big ears.

A Tale Dark And Grimm - Adam Gidwitz

Hansel and Gretel: the true, totally gory, much better than the original, story told by a narrator who knows what kids really want to read about.

Shadow Children Series - Margaret Peterson Haddix

Times are different. Food is scarce. Having three or more children is outlawed. The question remains for Luke, an illegal third child, to stay hidden and in fear or escape and revolt.

Spiderwick Chronicles - Tony DiTerlizzi & Holly Black

Three siblings discover a hidden room, with a book full of magical creature data logs. Not all of them believe, until creatures start appearing, some kind, others dangerous and in search of the book.

Coraline - Neil Gaiman

A girl in a new house, her parents too busy to entertain her, finds a secret door. On the other side are her Other Mother and Other Father. They are kind, have the most wonderful meals, and devote all their time to Coraline. The only problem: they have buttons sewn into their eyes. If Coraline wants to stay, she will need them too.

Witches - Roald Dahl

Beware the witches! They have no toes, they have no hair, and they have claws! Worst yet... they are all at the hotel, having a meeting, and you're in the room. And they HATE children.
